Focus group para la elaboración del Smart Cities Study 2023
En el focus group, realizado de manera simultánea con dos grupos (inglés y castellano), el pasado 10 de mayo de 2023, se realizaron dos dinámicas participativas con los gobiernos locales participantes:
1. Primera dinámica, con el fin de identificar iniciativas, proyectos y buenas prácticas en los 6 ejes del estudio (economía inteligente, nueva movilidad, medio ambiente, ciudadanía digital, calidad de vida y gobernanza inteligente), y vincularlos al logro de los objetivos ODS.
2. Segunda dinámica, identificar las principales barreras y elementos facilitadores del impulso a la innovación a nivel local, así como definir los principales ODS que se abordan en los gobiernos locales por cada uno de los ejes del Estudio.
Ambas dinámicas participativas contaron con la participación de más de 30 representantes de gobiernos locales a nivel internacional.
Webinar "Adopting the Smart City Accessible ICT Public Procurement Model Policy"
To celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) on the 19th of May, we invite you to Webinar "Adopting the Smart City Accessible ICT Public Procurement Model Policy"; hosted by G3ict in collaboration with UCLG, Microsoft, and the World Economic Forum. The session will give an overview of the Public Procurement Model Policy, solutions to guide implementation of the policy and include experiences from two local government representatives that have successfully adopted the policy. THE «SMART CITIES STUDY 2021» IS NOW AVAILABLE
The fourth edition of the Smart Cities Study 2021 developed by the UCLG “Community of Practice Digital Cities” focuses on the resilience of cities, and, especially, on analyzing how the covid-19 pandemic has induced cities to adopt “smart” measures to fight the negative effects that the pandemic has generated and that have contributed to the improvement of their resilience.
The Study aims to understand the pre-pandemic situation of cities, identifying their level of digitization and the “Smart” resources and tools they had. It analyses what impact the pandemic had on the different areas of local governance and what new “Smart” measures or tools were used to combat the negative consequences that were generated. Finally, the study determines to what extent these types of actions have served to increase the resilience of cities, and to assess the usefulness of the new measures and tools for combating future crises.
In this edition, 35 cities from 20 countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia have participated.

Ya está disponoble el «SMART CITIES STUDY 2021»
La cuarta edición del Smart Cities Study 2021 elaborado por la Comunidad de Práctica de Ciudades Digitales de CGLU, se ha centrado en la resiliencia de las ciudades y, especialmente, en analizar cómo la pandemia de la Covid-19 ha inducido a las ciudades a adoptar medidas “Smart” para luchar contra los efectos negativos que la pandemia ha generado y que han contribuido a la mejora de su resiliencia.
El estudio tiene como objetivo conocer la situación previa a la pandemia de las ciudades, identificando su nivel de digitalización y los recursos y herramientas “Smart” con los que contaba. Analiza qué impacto tuvo la pandemia en los distintos ámbitos de gobernanza local y qué nuevas medidas o herramientas “Smart” se utilizaron para combatir las consecuencias negativas que se generaron. Por último, el estudio constata en qué grado este tipo de actuaciones han servido para aumentar la resiliencia de las ciudades, y hacer una valoración sobre la utilidad de las nuevas medidas y herramientas para combatir crisis futuras.
En el estudio han participado 35 ciudades de 20 países de Europa, América Latina, África y Asia.

LE « SMART CITIES STUDY 2021» EST DISPONIBLE
La quatrième édition du Smart Cities Study 2021 élaborée par la Communauté de pratique des villes numériques de CGLU, s'est concentrée sur la résilience des villes et, en particulier, sur l'analyse de la manière dont la pandémie de Covid-19 a incité les villes à adopter des mesures « intelligentes » pour lutter contre les effets négatifs que la pandémie a générés et qui ont contribué à améliorer leur résilience.
L'étude vise à connaître la situation pré-pandémique dans les villes, en identifiant leur niveau de numérisation et les ressources et outils « intelligents » dont elles disposaient. Il analyse quel impact la pandémie a eu sur les différents domaines de la gouvernance locale et quelles nouvelles mesures ou outils « intelligents » ont été utilisés pour lutter contre les conséquences négatives qui ont été générées. Enfin, l'étude confirme à quel point ce type d'action a permis d'accroître la résilience des villes, et évalue l'utilité de nouvelles mesures et outils pour lutter contre les crises futures.
35 villes de 20 pays d'Europe, d'Amérique latine, d'Afrique et d'Asie ont participé à l'étude.
