Bureau Exécutif de CGLU
Cités et Gouvernements Locaux Unis (CGLU) tiendra son Bureau Exécutif entre le 18 au 19 avril à Madrid, Espagne à l´invitation de la maire de la ville, Manuela Carmena.
Les réunions du Bureau exécutif de 2017 se tiendront en parallèle du Forum mondial sur les violences urbaines et l'éducation pour la vie en société et la paix du 19 au 21 avril, organisé par les villes de Madrid, Paris, Barcelone, et par CGLU, UCCI, AIPAZ et les agences de l'ONU.
La Mairie de Madrid, en collaboration avec la Mairie de Paris, a proposé l’organisation d’un sommet, le Forum international de lutte contre les violences et d’éducation pour la paix. Dans le cadre d’un plus ample projet, il se tiendra à Madrid et rassemblera les leaders locaux du monde, les leaders de la société civile et de la réflexion sur la paix. À l’heure actuelle, il est du devoir et de la responsabilité des villes et gouvernements locaux d’agir en faveur de la paix, contre la violence comme moyen de résoudre les conflits, et d’encourager l’éducation pour la paix afin de faciliter le vivre ensemble et le bien-être pour l’avenir.

Le Bureau Exécutif de CGLU est l’instance responsable de présenter des propositions et d’appliquer les décisions du Conseil Mondial. Il est chargé d’assurer la gestion administrative et financière de l’Organisation Mondiale. Composé de 115 membres, il se réunit deux fois par an et rassemble autour de 200 participants.
Les débats politiques se tiendront le mardi 18 avril à l’invitation de la FEMP, la Fédération espagnole des municipalités et provinces.
Les réunions de la Commission des affaires statutaires et du Comité de gestion financière se tiendront aussi au siège de la FEMP.
Le Bureau exécutif sera organisé le mercredi 19 avril au centre d’expositions « La Nave ».
Il y a des créneaux limités pour les réunions des commissions et des groupes de travail les 17 et 18 avril. Un programme définitif vous sera envoyé très bientôt.

UCLG Executive Bureau
The United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) Executive Bureau will be held on 18-19 April in Madrid, Spain, under the invitation of the Mayor of the city, Manuela Carmena.
The 2017 Executive Bureau will be held back-to-back with the World Forum on Urban Violence and Education for Coexistence and Peace, taking place on 19-21 April, organized by the cities of Madrid, Paris and Barcelona, UCLG, UCCI, AIPAZ and UN Agencies.
The City Councils of Madrid and Paris propose that a summit meeting be celebrated in Madrid, the International Forum against Violence and for Peace Education, in order to start the process that will bring together local leaders, and personalities stemming from civil society and great thinkers. At the present stage cities and local governments have the duty, the responsibility, to work for Peace, to stop considering violence as a means of conflict resolution and to encourage education for Peace as an instrument of coexistence and future welfare.

The Executive Bureau of UCLG is responsible for initiating proposals and carrying out the decisions of the World Council. It is in charge of the World Organisation’s administrative and financial management. Composed of 115 members, it meets twice a year and usually gathers around 200 participants.
Policy discussions will be held on Tuesday 18 April at the invitation of FEMP, the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
The meetings of the Committee on Statutory Affairs and Financial Management Committee will also take place at the FEMP Headquarters.
The meeting of the Executive Bureau will take place on Wednesday 19 April at La Nave Exhibition Centre.
There is limited space for Committee and Working Group meetings on 17 and 18 April. A definite programme will be sent to you soon.

Ciudades y Gobiernos Locales Unidos (CGLU) celebrará su Bureau Ejecutivo entre el 18 y 19 de abril 2017 en Madrid, España, a invitación de la Alcaldesa de la ciudad, Manuela Carmena.
El Bureau Ejecutivo de 2017 se celebrará conjuntamente con el Foro Mundial sobre las Violencias Urbanas y Educación para la Convivencia y la Paz, que tendrá lugar del 19 al 21 de abril de 2017, organizado por las ciudades de Madrid, París y Barcelona, CGLU, UCCI, AIPAZ y agencias de la ONU.
El Ayuntamiento de Madrid, junto al Ayuntamiento de París proponen la celebración de una Cumbre, Foro Internacional contra la Violencia y por la Educación para la Paz a celebrar en Madrid, como proceso y lugar de encuentro de los líderes locales del mundo junto a líderes de la sociedad civil y del pensamiento por la Paz. En el momento actual las ciudades y gobiernos locales tenemos el deber, la responsabilidad, de trabajar por la Paz, contra la violencia como medio de resolución de conflictos, y trabajar la educación para la Paz como instrumento de convivencia y el bienestar futuro

La troisième édition des WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards est un prix international qui vise à reconnaître l'excellence dans l'utilisation des TIC dans les villes, la gouvernance électronique et des solutions intelligentes villes pour l'objectif ultime de la durabilité urbaine.
Les WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards visent à promouvoir l'adoption des TIC innovantes pour améliorer l'efficacité administrative; accroître l'accès des citoyens aux services publics; et partager les connaissances sur Smart stratégies sur la ville.

Our partner, the World e-Governments Organization of Cities and Local Governments (WeGO) has recently launched the 3rd edition of the WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards.
The 3rd WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards is an international competition that recognizes cities' excellence in ICT, e-Governance, and smart city solutions for the ultimate goal of urban sustainability.
Through this regular international competition, the WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards aims to encourage the incorporation of innovative ICT for the enhancement of administrative efficiency; increase citizens’ access to public services; and share knowledge on Smart City strategies actively.
Winners of this popular competition will be recognized in front of a high profile international audience during the 4th WeGO General Assembly in Ulyanovsk Region, Russia. Interested cities should apply for the Awards until April 30, 2017.

Nuestro partner, la Organización Mundial de Gobiernos Electrónicos de Ciudades y Gobiernos Locales (WeGO), ha lanzado recientemente la tercera edición de los “WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards”.
La tercera edición de WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards es un premio internacional que busca reconocer la excelencia en el uso de las ciudades en TIC, e-Gobernanza y soluciones de ciudades inteligentes para el objetivo final de la sostenibilidad urbana.
Los WeGO Smart Sustainable City Awards tienen como objetivo fomentar la incorporación de las TIC innovadoras para mejorar la eficiencia administrativa; aumentar el acceso de la ciudadanía a los servicios públicos; y compartir el conocimiento sobre las estrategias de Smart City.
Las Ciudades ganadoras de este premio serán reconocidas ante una audiencia internacional de alto perfil durante la IV Asamblea General de WeGO en la Región de Ulyanovsk, Rusia.
