La Commision collabore avec ONUHabitat dans l´organisation du « Atelier de lancement de projet Technologies SMART pour une municipalité durable »
Depuis la Commission nous sommes en train de collaborer avec ONUHabitat dans l´organisation du « Atelier de lancement de projet Technologies SMART pour une municipalité durable » qui aura lieu le 30 juin et 1 juillet 2014 à la Ville de Santander.
L´unité des gouvernements locaux et de la décentralisation de l´ONUHabitat et le Fonds Mondial pour le Développement des Villes (FMDV) conçoivent un projet pilote de développement d´applications et technologies intelligentes "SMART" qui permettent aux villes de générer des ressources financières propres, et d´améliorer l´accès et provision de services publics dans le cadre d´une gestion transparente.
L´objectif du projet est de soutenir les villes dans les pays en voie de développement ainsi que les villes dans les pays industrialisées afin de mieux faire face au défi posé par l´introduction de technologies SMART en matière de gestion publique. Le projet permettra de créer d´une part un réseau d´échange d´expériences mondiales en la matière et d´autre part, de soutenir le développement d´applications spécifiques qui permettent aux municipalités de mieux gérer les finances municipales.
L´Atelier qui aura lieu à Santander, ce le premier événement de une séries des éventements qui se tiendra à des villes du Monde entier, et à comme objectives :
- Identification des besoins des villes participantes, dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre des Technologies SMART dans le domaine des finances municipales.
- Identification des domaines d´intérêt pour le développement d´applications pilotes.
- Lancement du réseau mondial sur les finances municipales SMART.
- Identification des défis les plus communs dans la mise en œuvre des technologies privées par rapport à la gestion publique , avec un accent particulier sur l´acquisition de services (approvisionnement ) et sur les aspects normatifs de la fiscalité.
- Développement d´un espace de rencontre entre les villes participantes et le secteur privé (particulièrement avec les compagnies téléphoniques et la prestation de services)
- Visite technique sur l´expérience de la ville de Santander dans la mise en oeuvre des technologies SMART, l´analyse de l´expérience et des leçons apprises.

The Committee collaborates with ONUHABITAT in the organization of the “Marketplace and project design exercise for SMART Technologies for municipal sustainability”
From the Committee we are collaborating with ONUHABITAT in the organization of the "Marketplace and project design exercise for SMART Technologies for municipal sustainability" that will be held from 30 June to 1 July 2014 in the City of Santander.
The Local Governments and Decentralization Unit of UNHabitat and the Global Fund for Cities Development (FMDV) are jointly designing a pilot project to facilitate the access to apps and SMART technologies able to support cities in generating endogenous resources, thanks to a better access and provision of public services within a framework of transparency in their management and delivery.
The goal of this pilot Project is to support both cities in developing and industrialized countries in their challenge to introduce SMART technologies for public management. The project will create a world network to exchange experiences and will develop concrete apps able to help municipalities to better manage their municipal finances.
This launch event to be held in Santander, is one the first one of a series of meetings that will be held in other cities from all around the world, and will have as main objectives:
- Need assessment for the participant cities in relation with the implementation of SMART technologies in the municipal finances field
- Identification of the areas of interest for the development of pilot apps.
- Launch of the global network on SMART municipal finance.
- Identification of the more frequent challenges for the implementation of SMART technologies to public management, with special attention to procurement process and the normative aspects of municipal fiscal management.
- Networking space for the participant cities and the private sector (with special focus on technological service providers and telephonic companies).
- Study visit to the experience of the host city of Santander in implementing SMART technologies, analysis of the experience of Smart Santander and identification of lessons learnt.

La Comisión colabora con ONUHabitat en la organización del “Taller de lanzamiento del proyecto: Tecnologías SMART para la sostenibilidad municipal”
Desde la Comisión estamos colaborando ONUHabitat en la organización del "Taller de lanzamiento del proyecto: Tecnologías SMART para la sostenibilidad municipal" que tendrá lugar del 30 de junio al 1 de julio en la Ciudad de Santander.
La Unidad de gobiernos locales y descentralización de ONUHabitat y el Fondo Mundial para el Desarrollo de las Ciudades (FMDV) están diseñando un proyecto piloto de desarrollo de aplicaciones y tecnologías SMART que permitan a las ciudades generar recursos financieros propios, gracias al mejor acceso y provisión de los servicios públicos en un marco de transparencia en la gestión.
El objetivo del proyecto es el de apoyar tanto a ciudades en países en desarrollo como a ciudades en países industrializados para poder afrontar mejor el reto que supone la introducción de las tecnologías SMART en la gestión pública. El proyecto creará por una parte una red de intercambio de experiencias mundial y por otra parte apoyará el desarrollo de aplicaciones concretas que permitan a los municipios gestionar mejor sus finanzas municipales.
El taller de lanzamiento a celebrarse en la Ciudad de Santander, representa el primero de una serie de talleres y encuentros que tendrán lugar en diversas ciudades del mundo y tendrá como principales objetivos:
- Identificación de necesidades de las ciudades participantes en relación con la implementación de tecnologías SMART en el campo de las finanzas municipales.
- Identificación de áreas de interés para el desarrollo de aplicaciones piloto.
- Lanzamiento de la red global sobre finanzas municipales SMART
- Identificación de los desafíos más frecuentes en la implementación de las tecnologías privadas a la gestión pública, con especial énfasis en la adquisición de servicios (procurement) y en los aspectos normativos de la imposición fiscal
- Espacio de encuentro entre las ciudades participantes y el sector privado (con especial interés en compañías telefónicas y de provisión de servicios)
- Visita técnica a la experiencia de la Ciudad de Santander en la implementación de tecnologías SMART, análisis de la experiencia y lecciones aprendidas
