{"id":8097,"date":"2021-11-16T12:17:31","date_gmt":"2021-11-16T12:17:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uclg-digitalcities.org\/en\/ya-esta-disponible-el-smart-cities-study-2021\/"},"modified":"2021-11-16T12:19:11","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T12:19:11","slug":"the-smart-cities-study-2021-is-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uclg-digitalcities.org\/en\/the-smart-cities-study-2021-is-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"THE \u00abSMART CITIES STUDY 2021\u00bb IS NOW AVAILABLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The fourth edition of the\u00a0<strong>Smart Cities Study 2021<\/strong>\u00a0developed by the UCLG \u201c<strong>Community of Practice Digital Cities<\/strong>\u201d focuses on the resilience of cities, and, especially, on analyzing how the covid-19 pandemic has induced cities to adopt \u201csmart\u201d measures to fight the negative effects that the pandemic has generated and that have contributed to the improvement of their resilience.<\/p>\n<p>The Study aims to understand the\u00a0<strong>pre-pandemic situation<\/strong>\u00a0of cities, identifying their level of digitization and the \u201cSmart\u201d resources and tools they had. It analyses<strong> what impact the pandemic had on the different areas of local governance and what new \u201cSmart\u201d measures or tools were used<\/strong>\u00a0to combat the negative consequences that were generated.
